Paris Fashion Week is often a breeding ground for the latest and greatest in sneakers. Much of what we can anticipate for fall/winter 2019 is seen there first, on the runway months before they hit retailers. During the Junya Watanabe PFW presentation, a first glimpse at the COMME des GARÇONS x New Balance partnership was revealed.
An expansive offering that touches on a range of New Balance styles champions simplicity fused with premium materials. Represented in the collaborative series are the NB 1500, 574 and the 990v5.
What you won’t find here are rainbow hues or avant-garde graphics. Instead, this collection represents the essence of what New Balance always has — classic design language, premium materials and muted neutrals that provide nuance and distinction.
Each of the five sneakers pictures here will all release on August 1 at select global retailers.
