Spotted during the HOMME Plus fall/winter 2019 presentation, Rei Kawakubo views the classic Air Jordan 1 through a sophisticated gaze adding straps and buckles to the sport-first, lifestyle-driven silhouette.
This holistic re-shaping of the Air Jordan 1 represents one of its boldest transformations in recent memory. Alongside the top strap and its decorative loops that circle the ankle collar, extended tongue construction gives the shoe a heightened stance that lingers upwards to the chin.
The black and white colorways of this COMME des GARÇONS HOMME Plus x Air Jordan 1 are covered in premium leather and highlight contemporary vision from Kawakubo new to the 1985 classic.
