Alongside fellow Converse Hoops athlete Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Charlotte Hornets forward Kelly Oubre Jr. gets to put his spin on the Converse Pro Leather as a part of Converse’s Chase the Drip collection and it features a split and patchwork take on the classic sneaker.
The sneaker features a black suede upper with patches of different materials and patterns stitched throughout the upper. Plaid makes an appearance on the eyelets as well, with the Converse Star and Chevron in baby blue suede and black stingray that’s split and offset on the lateral side. Stingray leather is featured on the tongue and heeltab, with a black suede heel stripe featuring a loop to wrap around the ankle if you’d like. Lastly, Sail is used on the midsole and outsole to finish off the sneaker.
