New Balance has joined forces with workwear brand Carhartt’s WIP (Work In Progress) diffusion line for its latest collaboration.
Known for its durable work attire, the collaborative Carhartt WIP x New Balance 990v6 “Sculpture Center” is crafted from a mix of mesh and suede in a palette of greys, browns, and tans reminiscent of the American institution’s signature workwear. Inspired by local neighbourhood gyms, the pair additionally mirrors the same straightforward, no-shortcuts ethos echoed by the aforementioned establishments.
Carhartt WIP is no stranger when it comes to the footwear game. The label previously collaborated with Nike and Converse and launched its first collaboration with New Balance in 2022.
