An Atlanta police officer was shot in response to a burglary attempted at A Ma Maniere in Atlanta earlier today.
According to 11Alive, the officer was responding to a burglary attempt at the sneaker boutique and during the investigation of the scene, shots were fired and he was allegedly shot by mistake by a security guard. The security guard was questioned by APD.
In the back alley of the store, a large hole was discovered against the cement wall with AMM stating no sneakers or merchandise was taken. Investigation of the burglary attempt is still ongoing as well as the suspect is still at large.
