Known for its quirky design aesthetics, Los Angeles–based brand Brain Dead, helmed by Kyle Ng, has teamed up with adidas to release two pairs of bowling shoes.

The Brain Dead x adidas Bowling Shoe is a unique and imaginative collaboration that redefines the conventional bowling shoe with a contemporary streetwear twist. Brain Dead, known for its eclectic and avant-garde designs, infuses this classic silhouette with bold aesthetics and quirky details.

Arriving in “Lefty” (white) and “Righty” (black) color schemes, the shoe features a mix of premium materials adorned with vibrant, contrasting colors and graphic patterns that reflect Brain Dead’s distinctive artistic style. The iconic Three Stripes of adidas are reimagined with creative flair, making this shoe a standout piece for both bowling enthusiasts and fashion-forward individuals. Each colorway is rounded off with gold branding found on the outer heel paired with adidas’ vintage spelled-out logo and Brain Dead’s moniker. The heel tab is also emblazoned with Brain Dead’s head motif.

Functionality meets fashion in the Brain Dead x adidas Bowling Shoe. While the design takes center stage, the shoe retains the essential features of a traditional bowling shoe, ensuring it performs well on the lanes. The rubber outsole provides the necessary grip and slide, while the cushioned insole offers comfort for extended wear.

The Brain Dead x adidas Bowling “Righty” and “Lefty” shoes will be released at 1 p.m. EST Tuesday, June 11, through a raffle running for 24 hours on Brain Dead’s website. The shoes will also be available in person at Brain Dead’s Los Angeles store, as well as Dover Street Market’s locations in Los Angeles, New York City and London. Pricing has not yet been announced.
