Inspired by the intersection of formal wear and sportswear, the Bodega x BEAMS x adidas “Easy Ivy” Collection reimagines classic prep fashion with a booksmart-meets-streetsmart footwear and apparel capsule. As a self proclaimed “New Chapter in Classic Style,” the adidas Campus and the adidas Adimatic arrive at the top of the class.
Combining old school meets new school, the Campus and Adimatic show the evolution of adidas throughout the decades and its ability to stay grounded in essential design principles.
For the adidas Campus, the pair is constructed from a premium suede upper in a dark grey, while contrasting brown is used on the heels and medial Three Stripes branding. Further elevating the pair is the forest green leather liner, white Three Stripes on the lateral profile, as well as the golden adidas branding on the heels and tongues. Rounding out the final details is the off-white midsole and the Bodega x Beams logo on the insoles.
While the prim and proper adidas Campus follows all the rules, the adidas Adimatic breaks them. The sneaker comes decked out in a beige suede upper with extra wide stripes and laces, the chunky design features a triangle and wavelength clad midsole and gum outsole to create a sneaker that is sure to standout amongst any class.
Bodega lines up the apparel by taking archetypal ivy pieces and adding their signature branding and color coordination. For a more modern feel, Bodega changes the proportions to create new focal points that embody the spirit of nuanced rebellion. The collection consists of two tees, a crewneck sweatshirt, cuffed sweatpants, and classic suit pieces.
