Blake Griffin has done stand-up, Comedy Central roasts, and funny commercials since being the #1 pick in the 2009 NBA Draft. It’s safe to say that comedy plays a huge part in his life and this Air Jordan 35 PE pays tribute to the iconic comedy “Superbad” and most notably the character McLovin, played by Christopher Mintz-Plasse.

The white base with sky blue overlays and tongue make up most of the sneaker. The Jordan V-inspired tongue has a Jumpman logo on the right shoe and a photo of a Hawaiian driver’s license with a picture of Blake inspired by McLovin. A Hawaiian rainbow tag on the tongue and heel accent the 35 with “Chikka” tagged on the toebox, a notable line from cult classic comedy.

As far as tech goes, the 35 uses a large visible forefoot and heel Zoom unit with an updated Eclipse plate which stabilizes the cushioning without sacrificing weight. Flywire cables on the side panels pay homage to the Jordan V but also help give a better lockdown and fit.

There’s no release info or price yet on the Air Jordan 35 “Movie 2” PE but check our Air Jordan Release Dates page for any updates.
