Air Jordan 9 “Birmingham Barons”
To keep in theme with the 20th anniversary of Michael Jordan’s sebatcale to baseball, the Air Jordan brand released the Air Jordan 9 “Birmingham Barons” in April of 2014, subsequently pairing with the Air Jordan 1 “Birmingham Barons”. The Air Jordan 9 was the first model to not be worn by MJ himself as they hit retailers upon his first retirement from the NBA in 1993.
