Beams and adidas come together to celebrate 50 years of an iconic silhouette, the adidas Superstar. Yes, it’s really been 50 years.
As a result, adidas Originals has teamed up with Japanese fashion retailer Beams to launch a special anniversary edition of the adidas Superstar.
The classic silhouette is layered in all an all-black premium leather base, and black faux pony fur that is found on the Three Stripes logo and heel-tab. In addition, a black rubber outsole and pink insoles complete the look to a timeless classic.
A release date has yet to be confirmed in the United States, however, a Japan release date has been confirmed for October 16, 2020, for ¥15,400 (approx. $148).
