PUMA creates a trifecta with Warner Bros. and DC Comics to celebrate the upcoming release of “The Batman,” starring Robert Pattinson. The Batman x PUMA Collection is inspired by the wild grittiness of Gotham City and the mysterious hero that comes to save the day. The collection comes with a variety of apparel and nine different footwear options.
As one of the most compelling franchises of all time, PUMA made sure to integrate the complex storytelling of Batman into the collection. Taking inspiration from the latest film, the collection comes complete with a classic PUMA Suede, a PUMA RS-X, a PUMA Mayze, a PUMA Fierce 2, and two PUMA Court Riders. The collection also comes with two special edition football cleats, the PUMA ULTRA and PUMA FUTURE Z. The classic PUMA Suede has a two-tone makeup that’s half black and half red. The rear panel has a flock of bats surrounding the PUMA Formstripe. The PUMA Fierce 2 is inspired by Selina Kyle, also known as Catwoman. This sneaker is crafted with sleek black leather, inspired by Catwoman’s bodysuit. The PUMA RS-X has an all-over black upper with red accents and a bat symbol on the midsole. The PUMA Mayze comes stacked in black pleather with a pop of red on the PUMA Formstrip. The duo of PUMA Court Riders are inspired by both Batman and Catwoman, with each sneaker honoring the characters’ respective styles. The PUMA ULTRA and PUMA FUTURE Z continue on with the dark red and black color scheme, while also featuring dryCELL technology to wick moisture and ergonomic cutlines for ease of movement.
The full collection includes other PUMA running and training products with apparel like hoodies, T-shirts, track suits, shorts, leggings, hats, and more. Each piece of the collection incorporates dark themes with moody colors and dramatic design elements. Both the sneakers and apparel feature classic Batman icons such as the Batmobile, Bat Symbol, and the Batsuit.
