As the new year slowly unravels, BAPE has unveiled a frenzy of sneakers. Most recently, the Japanese streetwear label has dropped two patent leather BAPE STAs while simultaneously preparing three new SK8 STAs. In another drop, the Bathing Ape has cooked up two pairs of Court STAs.

Inspired by the Nike SB Dunk, the Court STA embodies the quintessential shape of a skate sneaker. Releasing in two colorways, the first mirrors that of the “Purple Pigeon” Dunks. Grey suedes overlap the Beige leather panels, while accents of “Royal Purple” are displayed vividly through the zip-zap Star and heel branding.

In leather form, a more minimalistic Court STA appears alongside the aforementioned pair in “Grey/White.” Wrinkled leathers appear in the monochrome tone, while Cream laces add a vintage appeal to the skate silhouette. BAPE STA branding is seen on the heel, finishing off the heritage pair.

Both iteration of the Bape COURT STA will be releasing on February 6 on Bape.com for $305. What do you think of BAPE’s recent sneaker releases? Let us know on social media.
