Comic Con 2017 gets underway in San Diego tomorrow with one of next year’s most anticipated films, Marvel’s Black Panther, at the top of its docket. BAIT joins in on the excitement alongside PUMA with a Clyde Sock inspired by not only Wakanda’s greatest hero, but the African nation’s greatest resource.
Vibranium, the Wakandan material used to erect the Black Panther’s suit and Captain America’s unbreakable shield, creatively fuels this modern-day Clyde Sock largely coated in black with silver accents at the branding and eyelets. The look also mirrors T’Challa’s suit, also finished in black and chrome. BAIT and PUMA re-create this look with multi-patterned knit and reflective 3M rope. Exclusive BAIT, Marvel and Black Panther branding marks the insoles with serial numbers counting up to 200, the limited number of pairs produced.
The BAIT x Marvel Black Panther x PUMA Clyde Sock will release on Saturday, July 22, at BAIT San Diego only. Retail is $150.
