Reaggetonero and international superstar Bad Bunny brings the heat with a new capsule collection that partners with Cheetos and adidas. This exclusive apparel collab is an extension of the “Deja Tu Huella” campaign, which launched in 2020.
Bad Bunny and Chester Cheetah created “Deja Tu Huella” — which translates to “Leave Your Mark” — to encourage the next generation of Latinos to push boundaries and embrace individuality. To take their message even further, Cheetos is donating $500,000 to Bad Bunny’s Good Bunny Foundation. This announcement comes shortly after Cheetos and PepsiCo pledged to support the Latinx community with a commitment of $172 million to address racial inequality and create opportunity.
This collab captures the spirit of “Deja Tu Huella” as it’s vibrant and unconventional. It features a Cheeto-colored track suit with Chester Cheetah’s iconic spots and the adidas three-stripes in yellow running down the sides. The collection also features two soccer jerseys in brown and orange respectively, with the Cheetos logo printed on the front. You’re definitely going to need a pair of Bad Bunny’s all-black adidas Forum Buckle Lows to finish the fit.
The collection will be available to purchase live from the NTWRK app on August 6th, but before then, super fans can use Cheetle iD to get early access. This first-of-its-kind eCommerce technology will scan your fingers for Cheeto dust and admit the first 100 Cheeto fingers to purchase the items before the general release.
Chester Cheetah and Bad Bunny are also giving away a $50,000 scholarship to 10 lucky students through the Deja Tu Huella Estudiante Fund. To enter, students must make a 60-second TikTok demonstrating how they leave their mark on the world and tag the video with #DejaTuHuella. Submissions are being accepted from now until August 17th, but make sure to check-in with Cheetos for more details.
