It’s pretty hard to believe South by Southwest 2011 is only days away. The music, interactive, fashion and film festival is a great time to discover new acts and all, but more importantly, it’s an opportunity to explore one of the most fun and interesting cities in the country: Austin. This is exactly why Nice Kicks has teamed up with three other local, Austin-bred retailers to welcome you to our hometown. Complete Clothing, No Comply Skateboarding and Fast Folks Cyclery have linked up to get SXSW started off right. On Wednesday night, our favorite local purveyors of quality goods will gather at Nice Kicks to enjoy free drinks, explore local businesses and hear music from ATX’s own DJ Protege & Kydd. The event starts at 5 and ends with more than enough time to make it to some shows downtown.
