Under Armour announced today that they have inked a ten-year deal with Major League Baseball to act as the official on-field apparel sponsor beginning with the 2020 season. The deal marks Under Armour’s first-ever league uniform deal.

The partnership works in conjunction with Fanatics – a global leader in licensed sports merchandise. Under Armour will be the exclusive MLB provider of all on-field uniforms including jerseys, baselayer, game-day outerwear and year-round training apparel for all 30 MLB Clubs.

This marks a huge step in the young brand’s history as they continue to take steps towards growing their already impressive global presence. To celebrate the budding partnership, Under Armour, MLB and Fanatics will be hosting an event tonight at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor. Portions of the event will be live streamed on MLB’s Facebook page beginning at 6:00pm EST. Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank and MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred will also be speaking in regards to the new deal.
