The Animal Crossing game is a long-time favorite of all age groups, known for creating a relaxing environment for exploration and discovery. This creative and fun theme seen across characters is making its way from the screen to the apparel and footwear scene, with Puma tapping the franchise for a “New Horizon” collection. The collection will include several of Puma’s most popular silhouettes, including a Suede, Wild Rider, and Future Rider.
The Puma Suede arrives with a beige hairy suede upper coupled with the brand’s signature formstrip. Animal Crossing graphics appear on the tongue, while another translucent graphic appears below the sole. As would be expected with this collaboration, a canvas lace bag inspired by the game’s bell bag is included.
The inclusion of the Wild Rider symbolically represents a “New Horizon” as the brand’s latest athleisure style sneaker. This collaborative effort features a similar beige colored upper with multi-colored suede overlays. An embroidered leaf is featured on the heel while the Puma logo sits on the debossed lace tag.
Completing the pack, the Future Rider arrives with a multi-material construction. The pair also arrives with a leaf pattern embossed on the heel, which is inspired directly by the game. A canvas lace bag filled with different lace options is also included for a customizable look.
