Minnesota Timberwolves swingman Andrew Wiggins has a new adidas shoe on the horizon – the adidas Crazy Explosive. And Twitter is having almost as much fun roasting this shoe as they did with the “Chef” Two Lows.
But here’s the thing, and this also rings true for the Curry’s unfortunate fate: imagery has a lot to do with this perceived disdain.
The adidas Crazy Explosive is unfortunately subject to an unflattering catalog image. It doesn’t tell the real story of the shoe, its specs, details and aesthetic value.
The shoe looks to be inspired by Wiggins’ Canadian roots, dressed in Primeknit construction with unique patterning at the tongue and heel. Boost cushioning loads the heightened midsole while Wiggins’ AW logo is perched at the shoes centermost point.
