Following the release of his KAYTRAMINÉ collaborative album with Kaytranada, Aminé reveals his upcoming New Balance 610 “Mooz.” This sneaker was teased early last week as the artist shared a video admiring the billboard created for the collaboration, which is proudly displayed in Aminé’s hometown of Portland.
While the banana billboard was eye-catching, details about the sneaker weren’t immediately unveiled, but Aminé has now finally given us a good look at his New Balance 610 “Mooz.”
The sneaker has a brown and yellow exterior with a stitched pattern base that almost looks like thick mesh at first glance. The sneaker has chocolate-like overlays that add contrast and provide a glossy finish to the sneaker. The forefoot has iridescent panels, which are also seen on the heel counter.
Elsewhere, the sneaker omits traditional laces and goes for hiking-inspired rope laces which are secured with a lace lock at the top. An extended rubber badge acts as the tongue tag and is finished with co-branding and a banana graphic.
For the perfect final touch, the sneaker is complete with a snowglobe-esque detail as the yellow 610 badge near the ankle collar has a floating banana charm that moves when the sneaker shakes.
Aminé has been a brand ambassador for New Balance since 2022 and this sneaker is his debut footwear collab with the brand. We’re glad that Aminé took his time with the New Balance 610 “Mooz” because this sneaker is simply bananas.
