Known for its signature military apparel, Alpha Industries has been doing its thing since the 1960s and for the first time they’ve teamed up with New Balance on their military-inspired take on the NB 574.

The 574 uses a waterproof Cordura nylon base in grey with olive suede overlays to keep up the military theme. The N logos on the quarter panel are backed by velcro which can be removed and placed in a customizable fashion. The Alpha Industries logo is seen debossed on the medial heel with the signature “REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT” tags clipped into the top eyelet. Emergency Orange is used in the insole, similarly seen on the lining of bomber jackets and cream is utilized in the midsole with ENCAP cushioning with a black outsole finishing off the sneaker.

The Alpha Industries x New Balance 574 is set to drop overseas on September 17th with a wider release in November on alphaindustries.com with the price tag of $110. Alongside the 574, Alpha Industries and New Balance are releasing an apparel collection featuring half-zip jackets, hoodies, pants, and t-shirts sharing the same military-inspired design. A pin of the 574 is also an added gift for those purchasing in Hong Kong and China. Check out the collection below featuring editorial shots from Alpha Industries.
