Sporting mixed materials and tones tied to a couple notable LA franchises, May tells the story of her AJ1 herself via her IG:
“Growing up in South Central, LA and receiving Jordan’s from Uncle G, a young Aleali would’ve thought having her own shoe was impossible.
One of the many things I’ve taken away from Michael Jordan is that he made the impossible, possible. This collaboration with @jumpman23 is dedicated to my city, Los Angeles.
