Fast and fundraising, the AKTIV x adidas adiZero Tempo Boost showcases the latest technology from the Three Stripes with a spirit of giving. Inspired by NYC marathon great Grete Waitz and her excellence in running, compassion for cancer and battle of her own, this shoe along with a range of apparel products will be sold at this weekend’s NYC Marathon to raise awareness and money for research regarding the benefits of physical activity in regard to cancer prevention and recovery.
This year, adidas will be donating 100% of their in-booth AKTIV apparel sales over the course of the marathon Health & Fitness Expo to AKTIV. In addition, for every tweet, Instagram or Facebook post with the hashtag #mystepmatters, adidas will donate $1 to the AKTIV Foundation. To date, adidas has donated over $3.3 million to AKTIV. Big ups to all involved with the research and running.
