Amsterdam-based football club Ajax has adopted Bob Marley’s Three Little Birds as their rallying cry since 2008, and to commemorate, Ajax and adidas have a Samba OG to pay tribute to Bob Marley and the song.
Dressed in a Core Black leather upper, and suede on the toecap, the standout design feature is the 3 Stripes on the quarter panel is in the Rasta colors of Green, Yellow, and Red. “SAMBA” is debossed in gold foil with Ajax’s crest seen printed on the tongue in red. The heeltab features a graphic of three little birds in the same colors mentioned earlier. A gum cup sole finishes off the classic silhouette.
