Air Jordan PHLY

Is that Michael Jordan coming out of retirement AGAIN? (No…everybody take a deep breath.) This is Michael practicing with the Charlotte Bobcats last year in his Air Jordan PHLYs. Though this orange colorway on his feet will probably never see the light of day, Jordan Brand will be releasing 5 different colorways of the Air Jordan PHLY before the year ends (see models you can buy after the jump).

The PHLY model was first released March 15th, 2008 in limited numbers to 10 selected stores; however, at the beginning of November, JB will be releasing these publicly at every store. Inspired by a par of Air Jordans Michael wore in 1985, Air Jordan PHLY was created as a tribute to Michael Jordan???s coach Clifton Herring aka “Pop”. Resembling a Converse All-Star, this shoe is said to be one of the most comfortable non-athletic shoes ever made by JB. These sneakers will retail for $85 and be released throughout November and December. Not flashy, but very stylish. Did MJ hit or miss with these?
