Fueled by MJ’s minor league stints in Birmingham, Alabama and Scottsdale, Arizona, where he wore numbers 35 and 45 respectively, the Air Jordan 9 comes in brown and black colorways constructed in rich leather meant to mimic a baseball mitt with its unique woven build. Each comes in packaging inspired by a pack of baseball cards, leaving the identity of the pair received a mystery until unwrapped. Baseball jerseys and hats inspired by the Birmingham Barons and Scottsdale Scorpions will release alongside the footwear offering.
