As a tribute to his late mother, Kanye West created the Air Jordan 6 “Donda.” The Chicago-raised rapper revealed the Jordan in 2008, just a year after his mother had passed. Only 4-6 pairs are believed to exist.

This Air Jordan 6 comes ready in a “Varsity Red,” “White,” and “Metallic Gold” ensemble. The White leather and perforated upper are embellished with lasered roses on the overlays. More roses are seen embroidered on the tongues and heels, with “Donda West” on the insoles and lyrics from Kanye’s song “Roses.”

Christie’s luxury auction house will be give bidders the chances to purchase the Air Jordan 6 “Donda” through their new division called, Department X, which is dedicated to auctioning off rare collectibles.

The auction for the Air Jordan 6 “Donda” is open now. The price is available upon request. To enquire, visit Christies.com. For more Sneaker News and Jordan Release Dates, follow @NiceKicks on Twitter.
