It looks like Quai 54 is going to be happening this summer after taking a year off due to COVID-19, and a Quai 54 Air Jordan 35 Low will be front and center in Paris this summer for it. Quai 54 is an annual 2-day streetball tournament held in Paris on the last weekend of June for those that don’t know.
Dressed in different pinstripes across all panels, the Quai 54 collection draws from African and Parisian heritage, which is apparent in the Kente Cloth print used for the lining and insole of the 35 Low. Bright red accenting is seen throughout, from the eyelets to hits on the tongue and 23 seen on the lateral toebox. The Quai 54 logo is seen on the left tongue as well as a patch on the heel that shares the space with the Jumpman.
A white midsole and Eclipse Plate 2.0 are utilized with a translucent multi-directional herringbone outsole. Unlocked Zoom Air is used in the heel and forefoot for cushioning without sacrificing responsiveness which can be seen through the Eclipse Plate and through the outsole in red.
In other Jordan Brand news, there’s a Jordan VI Bordeaux on the way this fall.
