Jordan Brand is taking it back to 2001 with an Air Jordan 3 PE that Michael Jordan wore during his first season with the Washington Wizards. While most thought the MJ wore the Air Jordan 3 “True Blue” Retro, his pair was slightly different and the PE is making its way to retailers next summer according to Sole Retreiver.
The sneaker at first glance looks like the True Blue colorway but features copper hits around the lower eyelets and the Jumpman on the tongue. The upcoming release scraps the Jumpman on the heel for the OG Nike Air with elephant print overlays seen around the toe, heel, and laces. Although photos of the outsole are unavailable, we can expect copper to replace the red hits on the outsole as well.
The Air Jordan 3 “Wizards” is scheduled to drop on April 29, 2023 via SNKRS and at select retailers for $210. Check out the photos below and for all the latest drop dates, head over to our Sneaker Release Dates page.
