The Air Jordan 3 OG “Fire Red” is Returning in 2022

Looks like we can end 2021 with a little bit of excitement for the new year as the Air Jordan 3 OG “Fire Red” with Nike Air is slated to return in 2022. This definitely has us eager to see what other Air Jordan releases are set up for the upcoming year, especially after a long reign of the Air Jordan 1.

This OG model made its grand debut in 1988 and was a part of the four original releases of Air Jordan 3. This sneaker pack also includes iconic colorways like the “White Cement,” “Black Cement,” and “True Blue.” The Air Jordan 3 “Fire Red” was already Retro’d in 2007 and 2013, but we’re excited to see it return again in 2022. The 2007 and 2013 models both featured the Jumpman on the heel. However, the 2022 edition takes things all the way back by offering the fan-favorite OG Nike Air logo on the heel.

The Air Jordan 3 OG “Fire Red” is expected to return on August 6, 2022 for $210. Hopefully, it won’t be long before official photos are unveiled, but take a look at mock-up and OG 1988 pair below. Be sure to check back with our Air Jordan Release Dates page for more info and updates on the drop.
