With the hype around the Air Jordan 2 steadily growing day by day, Jordan Brand has decided to finally release the Air Jordan 2 OG “Chicago” this holiday season. Thanks to the assist from Virgil and his Off-White Jordan 2 releases, the silhouette has re-entered the limelight.
The upcoming retro will include all of its original details from its 1986 aesthetic. Early reports claim that the pair comes crafted from the same premium materials, which were first introduced back in the mid-80s. Its higher-cut uppers are layered in white with black trimming across the laces, followed by hints of red on the tongue and heel. Concluding the pair is Nike and Jumpman labeling on the heel and tongue. The sneaker is set to return in true OG form with OG packaging, Wings logo hangtag, and a booklet to accompany the sneaker.
