Celebrating the Lunar New Year and more specifically the Chinese zodiac sign of the dragon, the upcoming Air Jordan 2 Low GS “Year Of The Dragon” is chalked full of nods to the holiday. A smooth sail leather base acts as the canvas, while a green reptilian textile elevates the lateral collar. Other auspicious design cues include the golden motifs on the medial collar, red hits (a lucky color in Chinese culture) on the heel, tongue branding, and lace locks. Rounding out the final design cues are the icy translucent outsole and the special branded insoles.
