Joining the Nike Air Foamposite One “Eggplant,” the Air Jordan 17 OG Low “Lightning” returns for Spring 2024, per Sole Retriever.
The news of the “Lightning” AJ17 Low retro follows a month after ZSneakerheadz reported the silhouette would be making a comeback. At the time, however, the exact colorway was unknown.
The Air Jordan 17 Low “Lightning,” also referred to as the “All-Star” edition, was worn by Michael Jordan during his final NBA All-Star Game in 2002. Designed with a lower cut compared to the standard Jordan 17 model, the “Lightning” colorway showcases a black Dynamic Fit sleeve, a white leather upper, and striking Lightning accents. To provide additional support, a chrome strip surrounds the base of the heel, while the outsole features a traction pattern inspired by a pixelated heat map.
The Air Jordan 17 OG Low “Lightning” returns during Spring 2024. The retail price is expected to be $250. To purchase, visit Nike.com and select retailers. For more sneaker news and Air Jordan release dates, follow @NiceKicks on Instagram.
