Jordan Brand, back in 2016, took to its Air Jordan 12 with an entirely new mindset. The time-honored silhouette –typically outfitted in varying iterations of leather — was produced in variations of lightweight nylon, neoprene, and even wool. It was a strategic and successful deviation for the silhouette. The shoe(s) released just ahead of winter.
Air Jordan 12 WinterTwo years removed from the “Nylon” and “Wool” 12s and another winter season on the horizon, the brand again outfits Michael Jordan’s 12th signature silhouette in an all-black coat with materials that speak to cooler climate. Reinforced in a textile weatherproof upper backed by a cozy sockliner for warmth, this winterized style is punctuated with a wool insole that coincides with the shoe’s varying shades of noir.
Originally expected to release on December 15, new reports pin the Air Jordan 12 Winter for a December 31 release date. Pairs will be available at premium retailers including Feature.
