Rumors or expectations of “Space Jam” 11 Lows have been rampant since we made Photoshop concepts of said shoe about seven years ago.

This year, we found out they’re finally happening.

Well, kind of.

Here’s the first look at the Jordan 11 Low IE ‘Space Jam’ set to release in July

The Air Jordan 11 Low IE “Space Jam” is a sharp shoe or an okey-doke depending on how you look at things.

A truly underrated model, the IE version of the AJ11 is the original low top form of Mike’s most memorable model of the ’90s, though its convertible counterpart with a smooth patent leather mudguard that launched in the early ’00s is much more popular.

Historically speaking, this isn’t the first time this has happened – including said silo.

While “Fire Red” 4 fans had to see Fusions, Lasers and Laser Fusions before a proper retro – still without Nike Air – the Air Jordan 11 Low does not have the same OG cache but a similar narrative.

We’ve been close to a proper “Space Jam” 11 Low before, but it was actually an “Infrared 23” iteration.

Don’t get it twisted, the Air Jordan 11 Low IE isn’t a bad shoe – the “Cobalt” and “Playoff” colorways are incredible on court and slept on in regards to style. Heck, even the “Referee” pair was fire!

All we’re saying is that the “Space Jam” iteration on the way probably was not what most people were hoping for or at least expecting.

However, the side-by-side comparison of the 2019 IE Low with the 2016 Mid honestly have these looking pretty good.
