April 14, 2001.

It is hard to believe for many Jordan heads, but on this day fifteen years ago, the Air Jordan 11 Low released.  It was the very first time that the Air Jordan 11 would release in low-top form with patent leather.  In total, 5 colorways released on Saturday, April 14th including some womens and kids exclusives.

The full family was treated to the Air Jordan 11 Low White/Varsity Red, men got the White/Columbia Blue, women received the White/Silver and White/Citrus, and just youth sizes were cut in the White/Hot Pink.

The retro fever was far from being in full effect and pretty much all colorways would eventually see discount stickers before finally moving to sold-out status in retail stores.  Today, finding deadstock pairs is a troubling task, but thankfully for many, the White/Varsity Red will be releasing this year with the White/Citrus having released in 2015.

Which colorway is your favorite from the line-up that released on this day, fifteen year ago?
