An ode to MJ’s foray into baseball following his first retirement from the NBA, the shoes takes on the tonal aesthetic of the Birmingham Barons — the minor league team Jordan played for down south in Alabama. The shoe’s imposing black and metallic silver shading is coupled with synthetic patent leather joined by a lightly coated suede at its upper.
The Air Jordan 11 Low “Barons” is set to release this Saturday, May 27, at select Jordan Brand retailers like Sneaker Politics for $175.
