It is a complete honor to be apart of Jordan Brand to say the least. Chris Paul is undoubtedly one of Jordan Brand’s favorite persons judging by the player exclusive, media events and other special things they do for the New Orleans Hornets point guard. Last summer, Jordan Brand designer Jason Mayden presented this custom Air Jordan 11 to Chris Paul before he left to attend Standford Graduate School of Business. Mayden has been the designer of Chris Paul’s signature sneakers; therefore, he was definitely the right person to present a custom, tribute sneaker to Paul (although Atlanta-based artist Mike McCoullagh actually designed it). A one-of-a-kind green and yellow graphic, representing Chris Paul’s blood, sweat, and tears throughout his journey to the NBA, covers the area where patent leather would be on an original Air Jordan 11.
