After a brief viewing yesterday, today we have new information on what many thought to be the official Air Jordan 1 Retro High “Chinese New Year”. Though assumed to be a forthcoming general release from Jordan Brand, the shoe is in fact a really great custom job by The Remade and 400ml Clothing.
With Chinese zodiac signifiers throughout the body of the shoe, including its attached hanging tassel, its clear why many linked early images of this shoe with a Chinese New Year JB drop. Constructed in both leather and suede fabrication, vibrant red tones dominate the high top frame with slight gold accents at the tongue, while the symbols throughout the shoes upper match the corresponding white midsole.
