When you’ve won numerous World Series Championships, Gold Gloves and had your fair share of off-field conquests the way Derek Jeter has, a custom retro Jordan may do little to thrill you. That doesn’t matter to Jordan Brand though, who designed this Air Jordan 1 PHAT Low for the perennial All-Star.
The design stems from Jeter sophisticated off-field style, which explains their clean white build. Navy blue contrast stitching is used throughout, as are touches of gold. In fact, one of the included sets of waxed laces has the same shine as the Commissioner’s Trophy. Numerous nods only to the Yankees organization and Yankee Stadium can also be found throughout. We saw CC Sabathia’s Air Jordan Alpha 1 Outdoor land at select retailers and with the Yankees’ home-opener being today, there’s good reason to keep your eyes out for these Lows to hit shelves very soon.
