Although not as popular as the original Air Jordan 1 silhouette, Jordan Brand is giving its AJ1 mid a sleek Chicago-inspired makeover.
The forthcoming Air Jordan 1 Mid “Metallic Red” boasts the same black, white, and red hues of the all-time classic Chicago outfit, however, replacing the red hits is a metallic iteration for that extra sparkle. The sneaker utilizes white leather side panels and contrasting black leather overlays, while silver accents appear on the toe box and tongues. The titular “Metallic Red” marks its appearance on the Swoosh insignias, ankle collar, and Wings logo. Elevating the overall look is a white midsole and red rubber outsole.
Look for the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Metallic Red” to drop in the upcoming weeks at select retailers and Nike.com for $120.
