This Air Jordan 1 Mid “Familia” Could be a Nod to Latinx Heritage Month

Initially introduced as a GS edition, the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Familia” has surfaced in adult sizing.

While not explicitly stated, the mid-top sneaker could be a part of the Latinx Heritage Month Collection. The bold color pallet consisting of a fuchsia-like color, yellow, black, and white, along with the Spanish word “Familia” inscribed along the mudguard recognizes Mexican culture. Additionally, the tongue design draws influence from traditional papel picado decorations while a floral pattern filled with mini-Swooshes is displayed on the left insole.
