While everyone remembers Michael Jordan as a legendary basketball player, real MJ fans know about his small stint as a minor league Baseball player. Regardless of his limited time in the outfield, Michael Jordan has always been a longtime Baseball fan. The Air Jordan 1 Mid “Diamond Shorts” is yet another tribute to Michael Jordan’s athletic career.

This iteration of the Air Jordan 1 Mid sports a classic white and black makeup that honors the team colors of the Birmingham Barons; the Double AA team that Michael Jordan played for in 1994. The base of this sneaker is made with crisp white leather that is contrasted with black suede overlays. Nike‘s signature Swoosh and the Air Jordan Wings are also dressed in black, which match the Jumpman Baseball Diamond logo on the tongue.

Details regarding the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Diamond Shorts” are extremely limited at this time, but check out the official photos below. Be sure to follow up with our Jordan Release Dates page for more info and updates on the drop.
