Diddy now has a doctorate and a pair of custom Air Jordans to go with it. The well-known entrepreneur was awarded an honorary doctorate from Howard University, where he gave the commencement speech this past weekend. Diddy attended HU for two years before dropping out in 1990, but returned to speak to the newest class of graduates and acknowledge how the school changed his life. To go along with the privileges of the honorary doctorate and commencement address, the founder of Bad Boy Records was gifted a pair of Air Jordan 1 “Howard University” Custom sneakers to celebrate the occasion. Put together by Rich & Faded and Relevant Customs, this one-of-one trophy is dressed in HU white and navy and was spontaneously presented to Diddy. Tumbled leather uppers are detailed with “Howard” across both heels, and the school’s Bison mascot in replacement of the Air Jordan wings logo.
