Probably one of the more natural fitting stories these days is the Yankee inspiration on Jordans to pay homage to Derek Jeter’s contribution to baseball. After seeing several renditions of the Jordan 1 and 11, we finally get another iteration of the former on the Jordan 1 Flyknit. Featuring a completely Flyknit upper and utilizing both cream and navy tones, this silhouette is contrasted with a gold wings logo and tongue accent with an icy blue outsole. Lastly, this silhouette furthers its storytelling with the phrase “Captai2” while the “2” is rotated horizontally to make it shaped like an “N” – tributing the Yankee Captain.
