Heritage-based brand Brooks, in an effort to add greater visibility to storied silhouettes in their densely populated archive, pairs with emerging Los Angeles company FairPlay to showcase the nostalgic Regent Runner in a creative new rendering.
Spotted at Agenda Show Long Beach for the very first time, the FairPlay x Brook Regent Runner finds inspiration in the 75th anniversary of the “Battle of Los Angeles” story. The rumored extraterrestrial attack back in 1942 gives the shoe an alien allure, juxtaposing nubuck, suede and 3M reflective embellishments that nod to UFO vehicles. Much of the shoe is canvassed in black, while a speckled midsole shines along with a HydroFlow heel cushion. The look is finished with a branding insole.
