Unfortunately with the 2020 Tokyo Olympics pushed back due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, a lot of upcoming footwear silhouettes dedicated to the large sporting event won’t get as much limelight as they deserve. One such model is the adidas ZX Torsion.

The special-edition adidas ZX Torsion “Olympic” is constructed from a black base made from mixed textiles including leather, suede, and plastic. Contrasting hits of red, yellow, white, green and blue, representing the Olympic Rings, can then be seen stitched into the heel, and highlighting the Three Stripes branding on the lateral wall. Underneath the Three Stripes, a Rising Sun-inspired pattern can be seen.

The adidas ZX Torsion “Olympic” are scheduled to release this April 15 in Australia for a retail price of $200 AUD. So far no US drop date has been announced but they should arrive at the same time for $140 USD. For more celebratory silhouettes, check out the adidas 2020 Pride Collection.
