Kanye West and his adidas YEEZY empire are looking to expand their lauded sneaker arsenal before 2021 ends. Set to release in December is an all-new iteration of the beloved YEEZY 350 V2. The new silhouette dubbed the adidas YEEZY 350 V2 CMPCT is so far the biggest departure from the model’s usual design language.
According to a few first looks and renders from Yeezy Mafia, the adidas YEEZY 350 V2 CMPCT “Slate Blue” will stray away from the same Primeknit upper as seen on its processors and will boast a new construction that takes heavy influence from the recently surfaced YZY BSKTBL Knit “3D Slate Blue.” The patterned upper is accented in various shades of blues and complemented with contrasting black laces.
Additionally, the forthcoming silhouette features a lower cut, sock-like silhouette, and a ridged gum rubber outsole. And, of course, rounding out the overall look of the YEEZY 350 V2 CMPCT “Slate Blue” is a signature full-length Boost midsole.
The adidas YEEZY 350 V2 CMPCT “Slate Blue” is expected to release on December 6, 2021 via adidas.com/Yeezy, Yeezy Supply, and select Yeezy retailers for a retail price of $220. The pair can also be picked up now via eBay.
