From the very start, adidas has been at the precipice of 3D and 4D printed sneakers. Combining light and oxygen to construct lightweight and progressive midsole tooling, joining said technology with equally advanced Primeknit fabrication serve as the basis for an all-new adidas Y-3 Runner 4D.
New for fall/winter 2018, details on the budding Runner 4D include black Primeknit, ultra-resistant eyestays, and three stripes cording that lock the foot into place. The single-component design is a culmination of years of athletic data collection, tuned for proper energy return, long-lasting cushioning, and proper stability.
A limited run of the adidas Y-3 Runner 4D will launch on September 7 at select retailers, Y-3 stores and online. The shoe will retail for $600 USD.
