When adidas first introduced Boost technology back in 2013, it was unclear just how impactful the new cushioning system would be across the entirety of the brand archive. There was little doubt that Boost would be the wave of the future. It wasn’t so clear that adidas would retrofit heritage models with its revolutionary energy return creation.
We’d find out years later that adidas would do exactly that, outfitting many of its elder performance models with full-length Boost tooling. The latest to fall under this category is the adidas ZX500.
Releasing as an exclusive to UK retailer size?, this patriotic iteration follows traditional red, white and navy coloring married to premium suede and mesh fabrication. As mentioned, the midsole is completely outfitted in Boost cushioning which acts as both a performance aid and sartorial enhancement.
