For the current Spring/Summer 2021 season, adidas is dropping a vibrant UltraBOOST DNA 1.0 inspired by the ZX8000. Dressed in an “Aqua” outfit, this forthcoming adidas UltraBOOST pays homage to the ZX’s history.
The titular hue dresses the majority of the sneaker’s construction, from its signature Primeknit upper and BOOST-assisted midsole to the suede overlays, TPU cages, and laces. Adding a few contrasting hits is a neon-yellow dressing the Three Stripes branding, inner liner and lace dubraes. Finally purple also arrives on the cage branding, which is an obvious homage to the ZX8000’s profile. Elsewhere, Torsion technology is built into the midsoles.
The adidas UltraBOOST “Aqua” is set to hit select retailers such as END. on April 8. The pair will retail for €195 EUR (approximately $230 USD).
